My daughter\u2019s recent experience taught me that spiritual promptings happen more often than we may realize.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once a week she leaves early in the morning to drive 45 miles to her piano lesson and then back in time to attend school.<\/p>\n

I get up with her so we can visit a few minutes, and pray together.<\/p>\n

Twenty minutes after she left, she came into my mind and I had a quick thought to say a prayer for her. I didn\u2019t think much of it, but I stopped what I was doing and offered a simple prayer asking for her safety.<\/p>\n

Within minutes the phone rang and I heard my daughter\u2019s shaky voice say, \u201cMom, I ran off the road.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was dark at that early hour, and the rural road had no tracks to follow through the overnight snow. She couldn\u2019t see the edge of the road and had caught the tire and lost control of the car.<\/p>\n

Within moments, two vehicles had stopped, attached a chain and pulled her car out of the snow. One driver even followed her to make sure she made it safely to the interstate.<\/p>\n

She was being watched over and taken care of.<\/p>\n

The reason I share this experience with you is that the thought to pray for her after she had left was not strong. <\/strong>It was just a simple, passing thought. One easily ignored.<\/p>\n

I wonder how often we have thoughts, impressions, or feelings that we don\u2019t acknowledge or act upon because we are expecting something insistent and dramatic?<\/em><\/h3>\n

So, what if we don\u2019t know if it\u2019s inspiration? What if it\u2019s just a thought?<\/p>\n

What if it is just a thought?<\/p>\n

Is it good? Is it lifting another? Can you visualize a positive outcome if you act?<\/p>\n

If so, then act.<\/p>\n

The more we act on positive, good thoughts, the more we will continue to receive heavenly guidance.<\/h3>\n
