Have you ever had an experience that turned out different from what you expected or wanted?<\/strong><\/p>\n

What do you do when something, especially something important, does not go as planned?<\/p>\n

I have a tendency to become unhappy when things do not go as I intended. It has not been my habit to consider that perhaps something better could ultimately result.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So, I was impressed to learn how a group of musicians, poised to perform at Carnegie Hall handled the disappointment of their concert being cancelled because of a major power outage in New York City this past July 13.<\/p>\n

I can only imagine the discouragement and heartbreak of those who had traveled so far, only to be evacuated before their performance.<\/p>\n

Once outside their leader gathered them and they provided an impromptu concert in the street outside Carnegie hall.<\/p>\n

Passers-by stopped, listened and recorded on their phones and the videos went viral!<\/p>\n

What was intended to be a memorable personal experience<\/strong> performing in Carnegie Hall became an opportunity<\/strong> to be heard and seen and share their message around the world!<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t what they had planned, but maybe it was exactly what was needed.<\/h3>\n

This group was the Millenial Choir and Orchestra, whose purpose is \u201cto fulfill the need for more refined music performance education in our communities, with a focus on God and country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rather than be limited to only those in the concert hall, their beautiful songs of praise were heard around the world.<\/p>\n

Following their experience, the director posted on their FB page the following.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we move forward from this experience, may we all reflect on the immeasurable good we have unitedly brought to millions of souls\u2026 what really took the world by storm was the stirring sounds of \u201cI Believe in Christ,\u201d \u201cIn Christ Alone,\u201d and \u201cI Stand All Amazed\u201d filling NYC with the Spirit of God\u2026This is why we felt impressed to go to NYC. This is why we felt impressed to<\/p>\n

perform these particular songs. We never really know what God has planned for us, do we?\u201d<\/p>\n

Keeping that in mind, perhaps we can be more open to the possibility that though things may not go as planned, a greater purpose might be being served.<\/strong><\/p>\n
