Consider the situation of the writer. Then consider with what difficulty these lines were carved into the wall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018I believe in the sun even when it is not shining.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>I believe in love even when I don\u2019t feel it.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>I believe in God, even when he is silent.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a declaration of faith, this writer avowed that even if God did not seem to be answering in the way he wanted, he still believed.<\/p>\n<p>We might ask ourselves, how is that possible?<\/p>\n<p>The answer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Because he remembered. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He remembered that the sun always returns after the dark of night.<\/p>\n<p>Even in the horrors of war he was able to remember what love was.
