They, or you, may not receive much praise or acknowledgment, but without them, many good things in life just don\u2019t happen.<\/b><\/p>\n
I had an experience recently that reminded me of George Bailey in It\u2019s a Wonderful Life.<\/i> Remember, George was at a turning point, burdened and feeling that his life did not amount to much. He felt he was a failure. His dreams had passed him by and he began to think that others would be better off without him.<\/p>\n
He was given the experience of seeing what the world would have been like without the influence of his gentle, seemingly insignificant life.<\/b><\/p>\n
To him, his life seemed small, but in truth it was powerful!<\/b> He is an unsung hero.<\/p>\n
Personal Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n We recently spent time with my family in the mountains, riding ATV\u2019s and hiking. My husband cheerfully drove us to the trailhead.<\/p>\n He was unable to hike, but he looked forward to resting in his recliner lawn chair in the woods while he waited for our return.<\/p>\n We hiked first to one lake and then a second on an inviting trail, while the continual rise in elevation challenged us.<\/p>\n We had great experiences and made fun memories!<\/p>\n Four hours later we returned to find a good-natured dad waiting patiently<\/b> in the pickup. The mosquitos had been too thick for him to enjoy a rest in his lawn chair out under the trees.<\/p>\n Appreciation was expressed. Descriptions shared. Soon we were on our way home.<\/p>\n
