Autumn seems to be quickly taking on the feel of winter. But before we rush headlong into the colder weather I want to share with you what I observed not too long ago on my morning walk.<\/p>\n

I was enjoying the wild sunflowers that were growing around our farm and I stopped to take some pictures. I was getting frustrated because the light of the sun was at such an angle that my shadow was in every picture! <\/strong>How annoying was that?!<\/p>\n

I tried reaching my camera out to the side and snapping a picture, crouching down low, walking around to the side and then the back. Coming from behind didn\u2019t work because as sunflowers do, they were facing the sun and the back side of the flowers wasn\u2019t very pretty. It wasn\u2019t until I raised my arms high above my head to take the picture that I was able to get a clean shot of the sunflowers, free of any shadow.<\/p>\n

Often times we see shadows in our experiences of life and maybe feel regret that the experience isn\u2019t all that we wanted or hoped it would be. We may feel cheated and resentful. Yet, if we can remember to raise our view, just as I did with my camera, we may find a cleaner, clearer picture of that situation that allows for a greater understanding. With that higher perspective, the shadows disappear.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"sunflowers3\"What a difference a change in perspective makes!<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the higher perspective light flows in freely and uninterrupted which allows a clearer picture and perhaps a beautiful, new understanding!<\/p>\n
