As part of my morning routine I declare, out loud, what I want to experience that day, not in specifics, but in the feeling.<\/p>\n<p>I use Pam Grout\u2019s phrase, from her book, \u201cThank and Grow Rich,\u201d that says, \u201c<strong>Something amazingly awesome is going to happen to me today<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I have done this for quite some time and have had so much fun seeing what shows up! I want to share with you, <strong>the best one yet<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>I had decided the other morning to tweak the statement from just something amazing to, \u201c<strong>Amazingly awesome things are happening to me today<\/strong>.\u201d I wanted to see what would happen changing it from a single intention to plural. My thought was, \u201c<strong>why limit it to just one<\/strong>?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And, would you believe it?! This is what happened:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My husband and I enjoyed an unplanned motorcycle ride together.<\/li>\n<li>My college age son arrived home to spend the weekend.<\/li>\n<li>2 high school friends, whom I had not seen in over 30 years, called me, out of the blue! They were in the area and wanted to come see me! How amazing is that! We spent a lovely evening together catching up, reminiscing and reconnecting!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I had not just one amazing thing happen. I had 3 amazingly awesome things happen!<\/p>\n<p>I would never have come up with those specific experiences but I had <strong>opened myself up to any and all possibilities<\/strong> and <strong>happily accepted each and every one<\/strong> that showed up!<\/p>\n<p><em>The more we look for the magic in each day, the more we will find it! And the more willing we are to receive, the more we are given.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I invite you, each morning, to <strong>declare the type of day you want to have and then open your eyes and heart and let the amazingly awesome things roll in!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d love to hear your experiences and the fun you have in the discovery.
